Villa Oeiras Carcavelos Superior
This historical review begins before 1400... it was in the 15th century that the first proven records of a wine being produced in the Carcavelos region can be found. This is therefore a long, troubled journey, but one that ends with renewed hope.
Today, the Carcavelos Demarcated Region is one of Portugal's smallest Designations of Origin.
Some people call this wine as a "cousin" of Port.
Fortified with 77% grape brandy (Lourinhã DOC - one out of 3 DOCs for brandy in the WORLD!)
