Soalheiro Oppaco 2019
"Oppaco is the first-ever red wine made by Soalheiro, marking a new chapter in our history. The goal was to take an innovative approach to the region’s red wines. It started in 2013 as a blend of two regional grape varieties, red Vinhão (known as Sousão in Douro Region) and white Alvarinho. Today it includes Pinot Noir, as well, to achieve the perfect flavour balance. This combination allows the elegance of Alvarinho and the light, fruit-forward profile of Pinot Noir to tone down the rusticity of Vinhão, producing a delicate and elegant wine with an outstanding balance between tannins, alcohol, and acidity. We named this wine Oppaco, meaning ‘opaque’, to mark Soalheiro’s venture into the world of red wine."

Vadio 2013 Library Release 10 years after
"With the aim of demonstrating the ageing potential of wines made from the Baga grape variety, every year around 10% of Vadio's production is saved for a re-release of a 10-year edition. This wine was bottled at the same time as the original release and aged in the bottle in our cellar for a further 7 years.
Respecting the more classic style of the Bairrada region, this wine was made from the baga grape variety, fermented in small lagares, and aged for 18 months in used barrels. 15800 bottles were produced, and 1500 kept in the cellar for the re-release of this 10th anniversary edition."

Revela Vinhas Velhas 2021
Mariana Salvador is a smart girl. She is young and only a few years in the industry, but many “spotlights” are already on her. She manages to make wines for other companies that have hired her as a winemaker and still has time to concentrate on her own project - REVELA.
This wine is her first red (I recommend saving a couple bottles for the future and opening in 2031).
As the important wine critic who visited our bar said - a beautiful Burgundy in the Portuguese style.
Well, we agree with him and so does Mariana.
